    i thought they locked this thread down? i thought they escaped the tower and the stone walls climbed over them all and under the razor wire. i thought they were bluejays and crows dancing between a fullmoon and full weeping willows that touch down to graze the skin of earth and beast. i thought darkness and light fought here, they battle it out every day and every night. and here i thought the ladies holding fans were cooling themselves. no, they never were that familiar, they created storms and winds of the strong kind. and the sailors, the ships, the seas and all the flying fish jumping and starfish twinkling down underneath this wooden bow and taking off for the stories and the isles of yesterday where fog and bad dreams haunte seaworthy men and their vessels as if a rusted anchor collapsed. this is why everyone gave in and in candlelight they did!

    I thought it was funny, and I sincerely thought you intended it to be funny too.

    I thought you specifically pointed out the "instant thought" part because of how long and un-instant chadwick's post appeared. If you didn't mean that to be a joke, I'm sorry I took it the wrong way.

    If you intended it to be a sincere compliment then I understand that now and I also apologize to chadwick as well as I don't want it to seem that by laughing at a compliment, I could also be perceived as laughing at the post as well...which was not my intentions.

    Your explanation is interesting because the only way you could read my comment as being humorous is if you read my compliment as a sarcastic remark. (!) In general, I don't use sarcasm. I think it's a mean-spirited type of humor and that's not me. I don't say things that are unkind and then pretend they are supposed to be funny! :|

    It was simply a sincere compliment. Luckily chadwick knows me well enough to read it that way. :)
