    I paid $4.05/gal for 91 octane last week here in Texas last week, and it's gone up since then...



    Just a thought for people though:

    Last week I paid $3.25 for a gallon of milk and $4.05 for a gallon on gas.

    Based on that comparison, your gas is a steal. As anywhere for 40-50 times more thought, effort, design, fabrication, and overall work went into getting the gas from the ground to your car than it did in getting the milk from the cows udder to your mouth.

    What I'm saying is, it's the dairy farmers you should be looking at. ;)

    plus what if my motor blows and i have 60 bucks in the tank? fuck that noise. when the motor goes i want to have $2.57 in the tank not 47, not 57, not full please.

    plus i would have to syphon it out and resell the shit.

    i only fill up when i am rich and going to a far off locale. it costs real money these days to fill an 18 gallon tank. fuck off @ that idea.

    I luckily have a short commute, maybe 4.5 miles wach way. I fill it up on payday every two weeks, usually about 3/4 of a tank.

    girlfriend has a 50 mile commute each way so its a significant expense for her.

    Must be nice. 23 miles each way for me. And my office is moving 3 miles north in May. I really need to get a job downtown....kills me every morning when I hear the el go by and I'm getting in my car.
