this whole "boston 2 puke" thing has taken on a life of its own.

this will probably be brought up numerous times down the road.

good to see you are a good sport about it too Kenny.

Dude, I know your kidding, but I must defend MMJ. Their sound had nothing to do with it. I enojoyed their performances the first three times I saw them this tour, and fortunately for me it wasn't my first time seeing them or else it would have ruined the experience. I have MMJ's album It Still Moves, and I now I want to go out and get the rest.

Damn, these 2 threads beat hell out of those other threads I've been reading all day long because you guys got Parachutes and Leash! Which is great, too!

To UNH1995 and to everyone sitting in Sections E, F and wherever else my horrid puke smell may have spread, I am the Boston 2 Puker, and I apologize.

And UNH1995, dude, that is some of the funniest shit I have read ever. Classic. I am actually almost proud of being the source of this humor.

Now let me answer some burning questions...

First, I was not drunk. I apparently ingested something that was in total disagreement with my system. Once expelled, I was completely fine. Elated, actually. But also disgusted at my own creation and sorry for the fowl stench my fellow Jamily members had to endure.

Secondly, where I puked was actually right next to the seats of my fiancee and I, not 3 or 4 seats down. I am very grateful for her springing into action, without remorse for ever having agreed to marry me, and informing the Garden staff of what I had done. Although it took way too long for them to act, and if I knew how to clean it up myself sooner, I would have.

Seriously, the Garden staff people kept walking by and looking at it but it took them forever to finally find the nearest minimum wage employee to clean it up!! Hence the tip.

UNH1995, I saw you come by and take the infamous and fucking hilarious picture and walk away, and I was like - "fuck, is he going to have me booted?" That's why I was acting weird when I told you I was OK, though I was still a little shell-shocked over the whole thing. Not physically ill, just uncomfortable because I had never puked in public before. But like I said I also felt much better for getting the offending agent out of my body.

Didn't Ed say to "leave your lunch on the cement floor?" Oh no... I remember now... he said "lady".

Thank you to Rayne and Trebmal for coming to my defense. You did not have to, but you did. True friends, indeed.

And now that I have outed myself as the Boston 2 Puker, on this day, my 30th birthday, I am raising a toast to all of you who have endured this ordeal with me.

I am also glad that I was able to give everyone who has read UNH1995's thread the gift of laughter, apalling as it may be.

    Your friend,

    Kenny

Once I saw that you were the puker I immediately thought it had something to do with your birthday. Happy Birthday. :)
No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.

I’m not sure I can accept your apology. It sounds heart felt and all but I mean you just discharge an immediate superfund consideration and just wave a hand like “it’s ok, I did it, everything’s ok.” So you supervise the low wage cleanup AND than just in time for Pearl Jam you move over to your real seats. Convincing yourself the nice folks to soon take the PUKE seats will never know the difference.

I want to know who had to use the contaminated seats and I’d like to see some real compensation for these duped fans. Remember Chernobyl. These people will probably never have normal kids now.

  • Happy Birthday and kudos to putting yourself out there and owning up to the puke (love the signature too). The 1st time I saw Pearl Jam April 1994 at the real Boston Garden, there were two lightweight teenage girls next to me and my friend smoking way too much weed. Halfway through the show, one of the girls sat down and started swaying. I was so afraid she would puke on me that I moved down and into the aisle. Good move on my part because I found out at the end of the show that she puked under her seat!!!
    Glad you enjoyed the show!

Sure, sure -- go sit with the other frat boys. ;)

I'll accept your story, but it looks like an X to me. I'll have CSI examine the photo right after they get through dissecting your stomach contents. One thing is for sure: an alcohol induced vomit does usually make it's presence known far enough in advance to allow time to run to facilities or at least to the back of the rink. It is apparent that you did not have that time.

I'll bet that you were not at all happy about feeling shitty at the show, though.

So we stood out on the sidewalk and listened whilst chatting up other PJ fans.

I was hoping you might come out and maybe we'd meet.
