Good to see Tassie hasnt been missed of the map for the Silverchair/Powderfinger tour.

This morning at 9 it was 4 deg.........:(

I took my CCFA poster to get framed today and took my Ned Kelly to get some card cut for it.
Did anyone get the Ned Kelly I dont think mine had anything printed on it like the others did. like 1 of 12 and artiststs name.
  • trudie, glad to hear you're feeling a little better. the celebration of your friend's life sounds like its just what she would have wanted. too bad the celebration came way too soon :(

zig, im with you. i cant stand silverchair. and their latest single makes me dislike them even more.

still love the finger though :)

PowderChair tour announcement today at 10.45am :D

Rumour has it that the tour will be played in a circus tent, will start in Newcastle (what's left of it ;) ) and will last 3 months!!!!

Wish it was a PowderJam tour :(

I take back what I said about Bernard's voice a while ago .. I heard one of their new songs on the radio yesterday and he sounded great.

Daniel Johns on the other hand sounds like crap lately.

Hope your doin alright Trudie, a good mate of mine wo i've known for 15 years passed away two weekends ago, you may of heard about it, motorbike rider getting hit by the car tire?? well anyway, yeah it does hit you like a bag of shite, least unexpected thing to happen. Still doesn't feel real to me, but sad to say he has unfortunately gone. Just the purpose of this post is that i guess i understand and am going through what you are at this same time.

    Thanks Sam.

That was such a tragic accident wasnt it. I remember flying to Vic last week and thinking about that poor guy, just the wrong place at the wrong time. And I also felt very sorry for the man who came forward... must have been terrible for him also.

This morning's candle vigil was good. a few of us old skoolers gathered, lit our candles and took about 15 minutes in silence just thinkin bout her and i do remember smiling at some point... knowing that she would have been smiling at us. Then the Jager shots came out ..... I nearly barfed at the thought!! But everyone had one (but me) and I know Kristin would have been cracking up at that.

Hope everyone is having a good one today. Weather is beautiful here. Hope the Maitland Newie peeps and doing ok.
