Got some tix for the Philly show... been a fan for some time now, Erika really knows how to belt out a tune. Saw them a little while back at the North Star Bar with The Builders and The Butchers, great show.

Wonder why they jumped ship from Fat Possum Records?

That deluxe package looks very enticing. $65 is more than reasonable for all that cool stuff.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

I read this thread around two weeks ago and started listening to the Heartless Bastards......and I LOVE them. So thanks! That feeling you get when you find a new band or artist you love is the best :D

EDIT: And I just now checked their tour schedule and they're going to be here in Feb. Very nice.....

i really love all of their albums, Daniel...but my favorite has to be All This Time. Their other LP's (Stairs & Elevators & The Mountain) are really great as well!!! I can burn them for you & bring them by if you'd like. Also, they're playing in Ft. Worth on 3/9. We're definitely going & tickets are only $16!
