    I got(paid) Bob to sign a photo for my son at last year's Flyer's Carnival and Wayne Simmonds in an LA Kings uni is in the photo.

    I still think they need to give Bryz a 5 or 6 cansecutive game stretch soon.

    why? Flyers blow in shootouts...Bob has been the "backup" all season all though has been the better goalie. i like to see some emotion from the goalie every now and then. it can jack up the rest of the team....sort of like iyla clubbing the boston guy. that was awesome.

    No, Lavilolette does not have the team practice shootouts, at all. I've never understood this. This team is losing valuable points throughout the year by continuously sucking at this. They should at least take a couple minutes every other practice to work on the shoot out.

    Having said that, the Shoot out is nothing more than a glorified skills gimmick that unfortunately is used to decide the outcome of a team game. Not a big fan of it, but its something that should be worked on by this team.

    i think it's better than a tie...if you are spending 100's on tickets....then a winner should be decided. i would be ok if they tweaked OT rules....maybe 4x4 for 10 minutes and then 3x3 for ten....then 2x2....or just play the game like you play post seasons games.

    4x4 for 10 minutes. 3x3 starts getting a little ridiculous. I don't see the problem with ties, but if OT is 10 minutes at least there would be fewer games decided by skills competitions. Also, a regulation win should be 3 points, so each game awards the same number of points. Olympics did this, so why can't the NHL?
