Saw her in either 99 or 2000 in new haven. I yelled this song out and she played it. I think it was during the Ophelia tour. She does a great cover of after the gold rush.

It will be so worth it! I saw her live in a small venue in NYC a few years ago. So amazing, and I heard it wasn't even her best show (I think she did like a 5 night run or something).

It has been adapted and re-invented by multiple generations and has inspired the most beloved characters and iconic pair of shoes in pop-culture history. But how did this classic tale come to be? Visit the locations that inspired Baum's Land of Oz, dig into his family's archival collection, and hear interviews with fans and historians as we share this heart-warming story of the man behind the

    I always loved this song.

I was looking for a link to post in the "first song you heard this morning" thread.

Although I was looking for the original, I was delighted to find this version with Natalie Merchant & Michael Stipe. What a beautiful rendition of "To Sir with Love"

LYRICS OF "WONDER" APPEAR IN EPIGRAPH OF NEW BOOK
    On Sale February 14, 2012

"Wonder", the debut novel by R.J. Palacio, is a portrait of one community’s struggle with empathy, compassion, and acceptance. In a world where bullying among young people is an epidemic, this is a refreshing new narrative full of heart and hope. R.J. Palacio has called her book “a meditation on kindness”—indeed, every reader will come away with a greater appreciation for the simple courage of friendship.
