    he could be the fastest....in one of the preseason games he blew by somebody like they were standing still. dude has some serious wheels.

    I'm not a huge fan of Simmonds...he's need a skating instructor, always looks like he is about to have his feet come out from under him. his hands are ok, but nothing special... the Richards deal looks aweful at this point from a talent perspective, unless Schenn gets it going and develops, of course the cap dollars will be useful so there's that

    To say this season is a wash - right now - without Pronger is ridiculous. NHL playoffs are as much of a crap shoot as MLB. Tim Thomas was a beast. Whether Pronger bitchslapped anyone or not is hindsight being 20/20.

    Having the NHL's leading scorer or not is a big concern.

    Who's Nicholas Grossman?

    EDIT: 'Scuse me....Nicklass Grossman....is there a chance at this trade?

    both players are awesome. I just think pronger is more important. Losing him is going to have a trickle down effect. Now means more minutes for the rest of the defense, which will prob cause them to wear down like they did last year (especially timonen, who's not getting any younger).

    Hopefully they can bring another guy in. I just think pronger is the most important guy on this roster. Virtually impossible to replace him

    I could be wrong about this but I don't think injured players count towards the cap
