Since fans refuse to compromise their issues with entitlement, then they should recognize their choices here, because we've been complaining for years for better service with little being done. ticket pre sales are overrated. who cares if you get front row, or 74th, at a concert? you're seeing the same show. i would understand if the pre sales had tickets that allowed you to sit side stage.. now that would be worth fighting for.

OP: you do realize that for every 100,000 members, the 10c brings in about $3,000,000 (based on 50% Analog and 50% Digital memberships), and this is likely a higher number if you include international members.

I do not know the number of active paid members, but would guess it is in the 250,000 range.

That makes this a business with a $7,500,000 annual gross. Personally, I have no clue where all this profit goes, but if you take away ticket sales, and fan club membership plummets by exponentially (perhaps by 75-90%).

You can still run a nice club with $750,000-1,000,000 annual income, but not with several staff members' salaries, a large building, insurance, etc.

All that said, I think you have it backwards... 10c needs to tread lightly...

Mike has a Tumblr account, he is really fond of Tumblr, he updates it several times a day...

I first joined the ten club in 98, I live in Buenos Aires, it was never about the tix, I am into vinyl, I missed the RVM and Benny, I wasn't a member between 2002-2005, missed those, I am intereseted in PJ stuff I can only get being a member, DVD Deluxe, PJ20 Vinyl, xmas singles, that means a lot to me, it is ok if the xmas single means shit to you, I love those two songs, no matter how awful they are, and sometimes they are really awful, and no matter how late they are delivered... I didn't give a shit about the drum kick tee or the vans kicks, worst kicks ever, but that's me, I love vinyl, and that is what 10C means to me...

I find it funny that the people complaining probably joined for the sole purpose of being able to purchase tickets... which in turn means the demand for all the fans, new or old cannot in any way be met.
So the people that joined exclusively to get tickets have actually ruined it for themselves

and a small org like tenclub is easily hit by people running a DOS or whatever... I mean to say.. massive corps get hit all the time.

All the complaining is going to do in email to them is going to clog the so called 'clogged shitty' system even more....

This is still a fun place to come get updates and find out about new interesting things (such as etchings on vinyl as per a previous post). Tickets and all that, if you get it great and if you don't still great because ultimately this is an awesome band. I'm just sick and tired of the negativity whether it's about losing out on vinyl, a poster, dvd/blu-ray, tickets or any other limited edition merchandise. Today I decided to block out any and all that cry and whine about what they didn't get or how they were screwed over, by adding them to a foe list. Already the boards sound better by drowning out this noise and nonsense. Been here for a long time and it just sucks to see this place taken over by constant bitching and moaning and me me me. Mistakes happen and lessons are learned and so we all move on but the music remains. Thankful the boards and many awesome posting members are here and hopefully they will be for a long time to come. Thanks 10C for all you do. Fan since '92.

Not every member would leave if they did away with presales. Not nearly as many as you think either. You don't think lost revenue for the Club couldn't be made up with Limited Edition items? Have you watched just the last three months here? Breaking the Club's balls here isn't going to change the past.

Trust me I understand your numbers but you are making quite the assumption that close to 90% percent of the members would leave if they stopped offering tickets. Quite the assumption at 50 percent actually in my opinion yet you want to assume at least 3 out of 4 will leave at the least. You are also not factoring in if the club just simply raised annual dues for remaining members, and started selling merchandise for higher prices this would make up quickly for the difference without the hassle. Shit...the PJ20 deluxe editions they could have easily sold here for triple the price. And if not here...brought them right to Ebay and gotten more than that.
