I picked up a massive haul last week from one of the charity shops I go to - they have loads and loads of vinyl, but I had pretty much bought everything from them that I'd wanted. I went in last week, and it was obvious they'd had a whole new collection in - everything priced about £2 a piece. I got a lot of Clash, some Bob Marley, Neil Young Zuma, a load of 1980s Miles Davis albums, some Grateful Dead, some other stuff that I can't remember right now...... I'm still working through it - all in good condition. That was a fun afternoon, going through the racks!Cancel my subscription to the Ressurection

no, I actually can't! I'm getting rid of the old carpet while the furnitures are still in the room and I have to move everything again and again
PLUS I like to listen to a vinyl for the first time with time and quiet on hand, seated on my sofa, relaxed and peaceful. Not with a hurry-up-kick in my ass because there's still so much to do

I haven't opened either one yet - but I will soon!
I ordered:
Mudhoney - "Head on the Curb"

Reissues of Talk Talk's Laughing Stock (never released on vinyl in North America before) and Mark Hollis' self-titled solo record.
In the last year I've been fleshing out my XTC collection. A re-issue of Black Sea (a record I'm surprised isn't more popular) is in the pipe for 2012 according to Andy Partridge. Who is awesome.0
