Yep, thought it might not sound so great on the green vinyl, but sounds awesome. Much better than my QOTSA Rated R, which hasn't got the punch of this...
Lullabies sounds quiet good. I have the red vinyl.
Edit: Quiet good? NICE one, Will...
Quite*** good
Yeah, I have that Lullabies red vinyl too, thats a great release, quality sound.
Have you heard any Rated R on vinyl? Mine sounds average at best, you have to turn the volume up on it quite a lot more than on pretty much all my other records to get a decent sound out of it... :?

I think Rated R / X is known for the bad sound on vinyl. I'm still hesitating to get it ...
I have Lullabies in both versions, and I am quite happy I got the red one too, cause the orange / purple one has a lot of noise on my favourite song, I never came. It looks sooooooooo pretty, though. It was my first more expensive vinyl and I love it to death
I also got Songs for the deaf on red vinyl, sounds fantastic, too! As does Era vulgaris, which by the way is a pretty awesome looking album, too, it comes on 3 sweet 10" records ...
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

yes it is Fiona Apple's new album. i have only listened once so far. i am kinda on the fence about it. can't tell if she is just singing noises, or is singing. lot different than Extraordinary machines

it's the kind of album you need to listen to a few times before it sinks in.. because the production is very minimal.. can't say i like it as much as Extraordianry Machine but it's amazing once you really get into it after a few listens. can't wait for my copy to arrive from Amazon.
