    last night I was "this close" to going to the ER :cry: . I ended up calling the on call doc and was still mulling the ER when my situation started to get better. all I could think was "I do NOT want to spend thanksgiving in the hospital" :x anyway, I'm pretty much good to go, but last night I was in as much pain as I've been at any time thru this whole thing.

    there's basically going to be four family names at dinner today...every one includes someone who is a survivor (lung, breast) or someone who has cancer right now (prostate and me). it boggles my mind. sadly, barring an absolute miracle, my sister-in-law's dad (prostate) will not be seeing another thanksgiving :cry: .

    but the great thing is the LOVE that's going to be at the table...the four families have been dealt the shitty card but have all rallied around and supported the folks with cancer....just like you guys do for me. That's what I'm thankful for!!

    funny thing is they have a dog but his wife makes damn sure that the dog acts nothing like a dog and when he's around the dog is to lie on his bed and do nothing else...last time norm was there he went on a marking spree which my brother just can't handle...he's wound a little tight :lol:
