    been a while since I have visited around here!

    I am really sorry to hear about your friend. Norm and Kyle said it perfectly above me: FUCK CANCER!!! I am sure its hard (impossible?) for him to stay positive when the doctors are anything but; but it does sound like he's approaching it the best way he can: Enjoy life while we can--we never know what tomorrow brings whether we are sick or not.

    The past year or so has been a whirlwind for me but I am happy to have access to the forums again at work and be able to check in more often :D

    Thanks again for the christmas letter. It sounds like you had a great year and kept yourself busy! Wish I coulda made it to Missoula to see so many friends (yourself included) but it wasnt in the cards--too much time off of work for surgery and Europe tour last year (and too much money spent!). Stephen went and enjoyed himself- picked me up a couple nice things and went to the meet and greet- so those are great memories and pics he shared with me :)

    Are you coming to Wrigley??

    I agree with you on both of those but this Quad tour is AMAZING.

    'cept I do have to see a dermatologist about a suspicious "mass." I would call it more of a "bump."

    I just saw my dermatologist last week for a suspicious thingy that had me freaking right out - I'm at a very high risk for developing melanoma, so anything that comes along gets me and doctors worried. No cancer again! :thumbup: I hope the same for you! I've got my fingers crossed for you. ;)

    TWO YEARS AGO today, they cut out my cancer (and some other stuff. too). when I finally decided something (bad) was going on with me, I weighed 148 pounds....I'm now up to 183. it's been a long road but I feel great. today, unfortunately, will be my 19th day in a row of working without a day off :roll: . I MAY get a day off tomorrow.

    I still get a bit misty when I see or remember all the acts of kindness I experienced from people on the board. there were dark days that you guys pulled me thru. I'm not going to try to remember all your names.....I know who you are and you know who you are. PJ pulled me thru too......an EV concert was the carrot on the string after my chemo in 2011 and PJ vancouver happened a month after my surgery.

    I wouldn't wish this shit on anyone but the silver lining is the friends I've met on this board. some I've met in person....others I still need to meet. here's hoping I see you in portland or spokane!

    for those who don't go into the doggie thread, you might not know our sweet, sweet Golden (Gracie) is on her third cancer at the age of five :( . she has beat mast cell cancer twice but is now getting chemo for her lymphoma. the lymphoma will take her sometime in the not to distant future. send all your vibes you used to use on me to her :mrgreen:
