    Headlights on at noon days? Tell 'em to turn on the heat or wear a thicker shirt or sweater so no one notices you're turned on! :shock: Maybe I'll send you a heating pad? So, beer still tastes "okay?" Well, that's good news to the mad taper. If only the post office lady won't be such a crumrudgeon. With the holiday rush, now might be the time. And at least you're not off the grid and having to travel to the library to update us. Hang in there.

    good lord....this new "super chemo" is no joke :shock: . the biggest side effect is the cold sensitivity, but I never REALLY experienced it....until today.

    It was 35 degrees this morning with probably a 40 mph wind (winds were 100 mph a little north of here and at least 7 semis tipped over on the interstate :shock: )....I took gracie to the park and immediately my face felt like it was being pierced by 100 needles and my hands (even with gloves) felt about the same. but, you know gracie....she needs her romp :lol:

    anyway, I don't know if today's thing was due to a) the wind chill or b) just the fact the chemo is accumulating in my system. right now, I'm on treatment #4 of 12. I'm getting there! :mrgreen:

    Some chemos do that...what a bitch it is. Accumulation is the worst part of chemo (bit it does help it to work) and I know you are thinking it is ages before it is done. I remember that feeling too well....but we are done and the two and a half years actually went by quite quickly, so I really hope the same happens for you.
    Take a day at a time, wrap up, drink beer, and stay strong xxxx
