If I was Ron Paul, I would say, "Really??? This fucking guy is beating me in the polls???? What the fuck, people ...".

Take it easy, Champ. Why don't you sit this next one out, stop talking for a while.

to be quite honest, i really don't believe that paul wants the nomination. if he did, why is he not going on the attack against the dim bulbs on that stage?

disheartened after realizing that people who call themselves conservative because they disagree with gay people would rather vote for a big spending "conservative" than someone who would actually make the cuts he claims he will make...
Or just came to the realization that the people willing to support the other morons aren't worth leading?

So, basically his biggest mistake was letting the American public hear him talk without a script.

what happened to usamamasan and what's her name?

really - how are republicans, heck all americans, just not thoroughly embarrassed at this crop of candidates?

I need to re-phrase my last sentence you quoted:

So, basically his biggest mistake was letting the American public hear him talk with a script.

we are embarrassed by them. romney or paul should be running away with this thing, but this is the best that the gop has to offer. i am actually saddened that they could not come up with anyone better than cain, santorum, bachmann, and perry.

You have to be insane to want to be president in the first place.

and you have to be even more insane to believe that you can take office and make massive effective changes "on day one"...there is a check and balance called congress that will no doubt stall or outright block your agenda. i would like to be able to be president and set policy though. there are some major policy changes i would make immediately.

  • Perry blew any chance he had after that bumbling disaster of an answer last night. I can only imagine how much flop sweat he had when he realized his train of thought was going off the rails.

Perry blew any chance he had after that bumbling disaster of an answer last night. I can only imagine how much flop sweat he had when he realized his train of thought was going off the rails.

"Oh, shoot, no," Perry told The Associated Press on Thursday morning, the day after making the error during a GOP debate. Asked whether his campaign, which is struggling to regain traction, could survive, Perry replied: "This ain't a day for quitting nothing."

This aint a day for quitting nothing???
    Seriously? :?

I think Mitt, Ron Paul, and Jon Huntsman are all good candidates....especially compared to who they would run against.
