So Michele Bachmann, what would be the first thing you would cut?

Good point. A simple question should lead to a simple answer. But they make it impossible to do.

well ... i don't blame them ... mainly because actually answering the question has little benefit ... better to take the time to gripe about obama ... the voters aren't really going to hold them accountable so ... best to take the time to do some GOP campaigning regardless of who gets the nomination ...

Gotta give it up to Ron Paul for saying to end the War on Drugs.

I applaud him also for that. He seems to be the only moderate Republican running.

sadly so has the American public. i understand that people like Dr. Ron Paul but i think when people call him moderate all they are looking at his some of his views and not all of them. i agree with Dr. Paul on his view of war and some other issues but i disagree on his view on abortion and some other issues.

ron paul is by no means a moderate ... haha ... he is just not a republican, as it is most recent history defined ... huntsman is a moderate next to those other guys ... but in watching the debate the other night - he talks a good game but skirted around every controversial issue like it was a 8 ft deep pot hole ...

Pretty good article about Obama's foreign policy. Get ready for part 2 of the national security debate.

I think half the problem is Ron Paul answers the questions and doesn't ramble.

Huntsman is not pushing hard in Iowa.

Didn't watch it but recorded it. Started watching it and have to wonder if Mitt was tanning because it looks like he has.

Also, only Mitt actually listened to the first question about jobs and gave the answer the moderators wanted. Everyone else rambled on.

I thought the debate was allright. Nothing game changing. I thought it was funny when Ron Paul told Newt he has some of the taxpayer money from the bailouts. Mitt Romneys 10000 bet was funny. Nothing like appealing to the working family like a $10000 bet. I also missed Herman Cain. It used to be nice to see at least one person of color at a Republican event.

none of the other candidates were answering the question ... pretty absurd ... also i think diane sawyer talked way too much ...

anyhoo - the debate was nationally televised ... who cares if he isn't pushing hard in iowa ...
