    it wasn't money. the eagles just wanted him more and thought he could contribute early. and giants thought he would have to go on the pup list to start the season.

    i think there was a lot of miss-communication between the giants and smith/his agent. mara said they were prepared to offer him a huge contract. smith said that wasn't the case. and the eagles stepped up.


    he's dropped a lot of balls this year. then last week he punked out on a play. big 3rd down. he made the catch then dropped to the turf a yard before the 1st down to avoid a hit. he's been a disappointment so far....much like the rest of the team. :lol:
