    My goal tonight was to drink as much as I could. I have like five or six beers left of a thirty pack and then I hit the good stuff...probably wont make it but it's good to have goals.

    I'm not so sure that our hearts ever truly completely heal though such words are always good to hear at this moment and it is ultimately important to at least try to stay positive.

    But I've had my heart broken quite a few times over the years and it only gets worse and worse with each break as we grow older. I've often felt that I've sometimes lost the will to try again which could be what you're feeling after having invested so much of your heart in the relationship.

    But then another one will eventually come along and bring with her that euphoria in the brain that compels us to dive in without regard and try try again. A wise man once simply said "the sun will rise another day".

And as hard as it is during times like these, just try to get everything you can out of life and remain optimistic. Take what you can from this and grow. Life's too short, and eventually one of these days you'll wake up and the pain will be a little less, and the next day a little less, and so forth. Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.
