I don't think that would be fair to those who purchased the blu ray thinking it was 'limited'. What would happen if ames or klausen were to release 100 posters, have them sell out, and then say 'here's 100 more for the hell of it'.

    Snooze you lose ;)

Wow! You'd rather keep an item just because it's "limited" then let other fans have one? I ordered the box set and don't care if its limited or not. I just wish everyone who wants one could have it. I guess others just get pleasure from having things others cannot. :?

I don't think this is cool at all. Some people are genuinely upset and either were saving up, didnt know about the sale, or had no clue that it would sell out during the presale. Have some respect for your fellow fans!

  • I too missed out on the Blu Ray although I had intended to buy it. I'm not upset, cause I don't have anyone to blame but myself for not picking it up earlier. However, I don't understand the logic in keeping the deluxe edition so limited. This entire year has seemed like such a celebration of the band and obviously the movie was a big part of that. Certainly people had to know that any deluxe edition of the movie would be highly sought after, so why create a situation where a large number of fans get shut out of the opportunity to buy it? With posters, vinyl, and some other items, I understand keeping it limited and making it more appealing as a collectors item. But I think a lot of people, even casual fans, would like to see all of the additional footage, The Kids are Twenty, etc that comes with the 10C edition. I can only hope they decide to make some more, cause I will buy it the day it goes onsale.

I wanted to buy it and didn't realize it was limited. I also was waiting for money to come in to get it.

I do have to say that it's heart breaking to me that there are sooooo many PJ fans on here that are not very sensitive to their fellow PJ fans that did miss out on this opportunity. We all have something in common....we love Pj. So why wouldn't you want us all to have a second chance at receiving probably the best bluray EVER? I'm a little saddened that more of us don't have each others backs.

  • I just posted on the Deluxe DVD second pressing petition because I don't have a Blu Ray player, but add my name here too. I'd get one if this were the only way I can get the deluxe DVD.

The title of the thread is ***Petition for 10c to re-stock PJ20 Blu Ray***

There are already a dozen other threads debating the whole issue of whether or not it should have been limited, how limited it was, how much it cost, how fast it sold out, etc. as well as questioning people's spending habits, personal opinions of 10C, and other non-related issues. Either support the OP and his request, or if you don't, then move over to one of those threads.

Almost every post in this thread is another opinion on the matter or telling the OP "you snooze, you lose" for the 100th time. Completely unnecessary.

If it happens, I'll buy it - if not, the I'll get the "unlimited edition" at Best Buy for 1/3 the price and be just as happy. Either way, thanks for your effort.

because if you want to own the thing you do not care bout limitation - it's only interersting if you want to re-sell it.

I'm perfectly fine if they do not release any more copies of the special versions. I bought a Deluxe Bluray from 10c only because on AET, The Rob said its a version only available to 10 members and it'll have some really cool extras. I didn't want to miss out.

With that being said, maybe those who missed out should focus your efforts on asking the 10c to have the extras released onto iTunes (or something like it) for a digital download or at least a rental. I know it is not the same, but at least you get to watch it. I know that the "Kids are Twenty" is available on there for download pre-order.
