    Am i really on my own on this one???

    i figure if we can get a good amount of names then 10c may see there is demand to order another batch!

    True - I do agree with you BUT surely if we had a petition of say 50-100 wouldnt 10c see the demand and make another run?

    Surely the fact that it sold out is proof enough for the demand, as well as all the threads about it and the emails that 10C have probably been receiving about it?
    Petitions seem to pop up all the time on here - have any ever been successful?

    well i don't own a blue-ray - BUT i'll sign up, because everyone on here pays their dues and deserve a chance to get it.

    Granted - you have a point BUT the term 'Limited Edition' is banded around these day it's like everything is a limited edition! And if they did say limited edition then they should say HOW limited it is - is it a run of 500 or 5000 copies (There's a big difference!).

    it was on sale 3 weeks. its not 10Cs fault you didnt order in time. the DVD box set (also LIMITED EDITION) is still in stock (but that will go soon I'm sure) and I doubt there will be any majorly noticeable differnce in quality on most peoples TVs....

    Yes it was on sale for 3 weeks but not all of us have $80 to just buy this stuff, some of us have to work really hard and try and save money for these things!

    and I concur but if something is limited it should stay limited and then if you cant get it in time tyhen you will have to have the DVD box set instead. its $10 cheaper as well :)

    Look, I know I missed the boat on this one. But if you make something like this (and the rucksack and the posters etc etc etc) limited edition then we all know it'll get flipped on ebay and some sucker buys it 2,3,4 times the face value - which is ultimately what 10c is against!

    That's not the point AT ALL... Of course that if you can't afford something, noone's saying you should have while it was available and it was your fault you didn't get it... But that's just how "Limited edition" works... When it's sold out, it's sold out. It's not 10c fault either, they did what they should have done by announcing it was limited... In my opinion, of course.

    i'm totally down for a re-stock. i'd love to get the 10c edition over any other blu-ray. i had a hard time fitting the blu-ray into my entertainment budget originally, but i worked it all out hours before it sold out. i was planning to purchase it when i got home from work that day, but obviously that didn't happen.

    Im obviously fighting a loosing battle here. I thought with all the posts about the sold out PF20 blu ray that this would be a hot topic and we can try and do something about getting some more.

    It seems like im fighting against the tide and we should all just roll over and put our hands up and say "unlucky this time!" - well that's bulls**t!

    If you can't afford a 80$ DVD then perhaps saving for one that goes out of stock isn't what you should be saving for in the first place?


    I bought one and don't care if they get more.

    The success rate of all petitions in here are 0.0.

    Than that's a completely different discussion and the title of the thread should be "***Petition for 10c to stop selling Limited Edition Items***"

    With this I could even agree, since I'm not a collector nor a flipper, so whatever I buy has the same value for me, limited or not...

    yeah, the effort is probably futile, but it never hurts to try. i have no problem ordering the less-special version, but i'd love to have the full set.

    yes it will get flipped by some and we all know it will happen, but if you dont want to support the flippers, dont buy... and dont complain if a limited edition has gone out of stock before you could buy. its no one elses fault but yours.

    the DVD is not out of stock, nor limited edition and I fully expect PJ to sell a blu ray of PJ20 in time....

    I would sign for this but I know it's not going to get anywhere. I admit I am at fault for not ordering it sooner but I didn't think it would sell out prior to it actually being released. That's what really bugs me - "out of stock" before it's even released. I also can't understand why it's so "limited". Bands/TV Shows/Movies make "limited editions" for many things but it's more in the context that they are limited compared to the number of mass produced regular editions. And what's so limited about it? It's not like it's a coloured vinyl. It's just three discs and special packaging that could easily be produced for another run.

    Here's a compromise

    10c, please release the bluray version of these discs ONLY. Not the extra packaging, not the extras that come with it (book, etc...)

    All I want are the 3 blurays. Hopefully, you can offer this at a much reduced price.

    Press a button, and make it happen. That way those of us who were on the fence due to the price can still buy and it doesn't cost you a ton in terms of manufacturing.

    The BluRays are very much in demand. Please make it happen.

    OK - I concede to the fact i lost out on this one and I aint gonna fight the tide. I bought the PJ20 DVD Limited Edition - cant wait to see it but I know everytime I watch it - its gonna leave a bitter taste in my mouth!

    I know Dimi, I just a bit of a digital snob - ill always choose Blu Ray over DVD - ESPECIALLY when it comes to PJ! ;)
