    Yesterday I got a random pm on fb from some bloke saying he likes my smile blah blah blah would like to get to know me. He's not on my friends list so not sure whether to tell him to f off or just ignore it. Never had such a random message before. Does this happen a lot?

    Yes it does. Creeper!!! I recommend completely ignoring it and making sure your privacy settings are set to friends only.
