    Oh... Who am I kidding, I loved all of them, from 1996 to 2010... I just wish I could afford to follow them around the world, it's always such a depression when the shows are over...

    Dont worry about Europe come to Australia to follow PJ they play there every new release. Great weather great people & lots to see. Who knows you may end up surfing or swimming with the band(that i think is the real reason they go there). Only downside is the ditance between cities if you could afford flying would be the best & the US dollar is weak at the moment. Australia & Pearl Jam are a match made in heaven, it isn't called gods country for nothing!

    Well, then count on it! I'm pretty decent cook too, so Lisbon won't be a very expensive place for you :D

    In. My friend who has always liked* PJ had never been to a show. PJ20 @ Alpine were her first two shows and she is hooked. Hard. We went to see PJ20 last night and decided afterwards that the next time they are in Europe, we are doing a little run (since we were planning on going in 2013 for a visit, we decided to make it PJ related). Hopefully next year! And I plan on seeing every last one of you. :D

    My wife and I just got married at the end of August and we took a short trip to Chicago just to get away.

    We were planning to go to Euro 2012 next summer but after the crazy week last week watching Pearl Jam in concert and the movie, I mentioned "hey what if we do a Pearl Jam honeymoon in Europe?" She said, "Sure!".

    So now it's just a matter of planning. We're pretty good travelers, we usually travel light (wife went to school in Europe for a year and traveled most of Europe on her own and knows 3-4 languages). My parents have a place in southern Portugal that I can use so the more I think about it the more it excites me. Never seen Pearl Jam in Europe.

    yes and i highly recommend it. did madrid, munich and london in '07 and had a blast. stay in hostels, it's cheap and you meet great people.

    I'm representing the country of Ireland, feel free to ask me any questions you might have as when PJ do play Europe and Ireland is included, we're usually first on the list so it's hopefully going to be the place you'll fly into.

    After reading the forum posts for 4 hours since getting home from work (yeah, I know, I gotta get a life ;) ) all this post does is make me crave to take my long service leave I'm supposed to save for retirement and travel out of the country for the first time (told you I gotta get a life :o ) and travel to the land of my forebears (Ireland) and the country of my current favourite bootleg (July 10, 2010 Oeiras, Portugal) on a PJ pilgrimmage on an as yet unannounced tour. To be sure, to be sure that's the Irish coming out in me ;) .
