Wow, just got back to the hotel. What a show! Lots of gems in this setlist, crowd was incredible...I was a little worried about it after all the talk of the Ottowa crowd, but Hamilton rocked it tonight! Glad to hear Immortality, U, Olé was great live. Loved a lot more but I'm beat! Glad I made the 7 hour drive to come up for the show! Thanks PJ and Canada for making our first international show a blast!"Fuck the talkin', let's start rocking." - E.V. 9-5-00

Great show, but the crowd really had such low energy (at least where I was on Stone's side 14 rows back). Much better crowds in Toronto.0

Quite the show tonight. Great setlist and a solid 2 hours and 40 minutes.0

HUH :?: Not sure were you were but the energy in that building tonight was as good as I have ever seen it! Loved the set and loved when Ed opened up about still hurting of the loss of his friend, Johnny Ramone 7 years ago to the day. Really brought everyone in emotionally for the remainder of the show.0

Just a wonderful way to put the capper on my 4 shows in 5 day binge......Hamilton definitely brought the Hammer and the band seemed very receptive and appreciative......highlights for me had to be "Push Me, Pull Me", "Habit" and "Immortality" and the fact that the boys got the ball rolling and everyone pumped by opening with "Given to Fly"...fan request of "Brain of J" was a nice touch as well.....not sure if the wine had anything to do with it but Ed seemed REALLY into the show tonight .....and i had no idea that Edge from the WWE was working security just down the row from me on Mike's side......thanks for 4 memorable shows PJ, you made it a roadtrip to remember, and to all the fans, keep the love alive!! My wife and I's seventh show and it rocketed possibly up to number one. We were front row, Stones side. We were belting out lyrics and dancing all night. Band had great energy. Ed was really into the crowds willingness to sing.
Highlight was during Mikes solo in Even Flow, Ed was taking his smoke break at the side and looked over at our section and noticed my wife begging for some of his wine. After making a gesture to us, asking if we had a cup, and us showing we had one, he came over and poured us and the guy next to us a healthy dose. All I have to say is, this brand of wine is now my favorite. It was so friggen good. It could have been milk for all we cared, it came from Eddie. What a band!!
If anyone has a pic or video of him pouring us the wine, I would love a copy.
 Goodnight.0

you were front row on the wings right? Not front row in front of the stage, right?
If so, yes I watched that whole thing go down as I watched Ed walk behind Boom and attempt to light up a smoke, but first give this couple some wine, that was great1998 ~ Barrie

I didn't think they could top Toronto Night 1 but this show was absolutely phenomenal. A great setlist, the crowd was full of energy, and I think the band loved it as much as the fans.Barrie, ON - Aug 22, 1998

I'm so glad I decided to go to Hamilton for this show. I would have absolutely been kicking myself if I skipped it after seeing the setlist. The band was really solid tonight despite having to restart Push Me, Pull Me and dropping the beginning of Why Go to do Jeremy only to play Why Go right after that. The acoustics in the building were good and Eddie really seemed into it tonight. I was worried that he might have been a bit more strained after the two Toronto shows and Ottawa. If the first five shows are any indicator, this is going to be an absolutely phenomenal tour.
 I think it's safe to say that I absolutely love non-album tours.0

I think someone added Jeremy when Why Go was the last song of the set, cause Matt started right away and Ed was like 'no, no, no, not yet'1998 ~ Barrie

big THANK YOU Ten Club for the 9th row lottery winnings, it was a great view (Stone side) of the stage and its nice to see their expressions and interactions so close up.
Again, you guys do me well
I also love the non-album tours
Ed really had a blast tonight, as well as got really emotional with the Joey Ramone story
You could see him signing Betterman really intensely.
Is it me, or are their jams a little bit longer and more frisky on this tour? Even the end of Betterman was more rocking and longer than usual
