The amount of Love I have for this song can not be measured.
It hit me so hard just now.
Ugh. So Painfully beautiful.
If I hear this on Sept 3rd or 4th... I would smile so much. So many on this board can relate to this.
I love you, Pearl Jam.

I love you, Pearl Jam."Pearl Jam are not just a band, they are a choice, and if you make that choice, you become one of the few lucky people on this planet to have your life enriched by the greatest gift that music ever gave" -- substitute

yep, it's one of the great, all time, cry yourself stupid songs.. Who are you missing?None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe that they are free.

That sucks dude. Not to be a big wet blanket here, but my dad who is only 61 suffered a nasty fall a week ago. We had to make the decision to take him off life support today. I've been boo-hooing to Man of the Hour and Come Back among others.* Oklahoma City Ford Center - Apr 03, 2003

Funny, I knew you would say a parent.. My father passed Aug. 26 2009.. few more days til that shitty anniversary.. funny how PJ songs transend all forms of love.. I miss him so.. and these days, they linger on...None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe that they are free.

I love my father so much. When he was taken away, my world fell apart. Through PJ's music, I felt whole.
And that's no bull shit.
When I hear come back, I can almost see him smiling at me.. wish I could just grab him and hug him forever.2008 - MSG 6/24-6/25

That must be SO hard. My old man and I never really got along all that great. We weren't close, but I never could have imagined how difficult it was going to be to actually lose him.* Oklahoma City Ford Center - Apr 03, 2003

Imagine hearing "just Breathe" a month after losing your father to cancer. Eddie hit many nails on all their heads, and I wonder at times.. Was it written for us? I know it wasn't but, goddamn man.. too much..Jeremys Spoken wrote:

It was on random, and I was at my uncles house, we had all met up there to have dinner. I went outside it was February, I had no jacket on.. I just sat on the front steps and cried, this came on and I just cried, and cried.
This band is mighty mighty powerful. And Im forever grateful for their music. People call me insane for having their name tattooed on me, or driving to Wisconsin.

Their music always hits me straight in my heart and your story's do that too my friends..
So sorry for your losses and its overwelming that this song gives so much comfort for different kind of situations in life..Their music is written to touch the soul in us and they never missed mine..
Hearing come back now sets my mind back to Berlin 2010 and what feeling we got there between band and fans..That moment was overwelming and was the deepest hit in my soul till that day...Still chills and tears even thinking of it.
Thanx friends for your story's and take care..Pearl Jam 4 live

I'm waiting for that moment in Wisconsin, when I look behind myself, and see thousands of people, smiling, and being absolutely free of all worries. Blanketed by the music that makes me happy. The music that is there for me, when I need a pick me up. The music that will NEVER let me down.appie wrote:Their music always hits me straight in my heart and your story's do that too my friends..
