But I want to go to the beach and lie in the sun. I am happy for it to piss down in the regional areas.. but Sydney has enough rain already. There is mildew and mould growing in my house and all the rain does here is run down into the stormwater drains and pollute the ocean.

Yeah I wouldnt mind a bitta sun either. Water is filthy at the moment.

And Eileen you shouldnt lie in the sun. Tanning is naughty

I never lie in the sun for long and use 30+..

I'm looking like and feeling like a whingeing Pom at the moment which is unusual for me this time of the year as I have fairly olive skin which usually tans easily.

I don't care who wins. They're both winners in my book :D

If I was a betting man though, my money would be riding on Miss Sharapova

Ive really enjoyed this year actually - my flatmate commented last night that she's never seen me at home so much during the week.

And those poor girls dipped out badly with their looks.

Remember Chris Evert Lloyd - I used to love her as a kid

I remember one of the Venus sisters wearing this goddawful skimpy black leather thing one season. Must have been so uncomfortable to play tennis in, not to mention she didn't have the figure for it.

I played mixed doubles once with Billie Jean King (and my doubles partner with John Newcombe) at a big celebrity day at White City when I was 9. That same day I got a sponsorship with Dunlop Slazenger where I was allowed 5 racquets and unlimited bags and towels every year - a dream for a kid.

I grew pubes, started smoking and drinking, found dope and my life has gone downhill ever since
