    I was playing basketball Monday night on this rec league I'm on. Went up for a rebound, the ball got smashed into my thumb. It hurt pretty damn bad. Looked down to see half my thumbnail bent straight-up. :shock: :o Sat the remainder of the game out because of the blood and the fact that there was less than 2 minutes left.

    I really didn't think that was possible. The most painful part was pushing the nail back down.

    today is a big day....

    one week ago, my chemo doc gave me a week break. said I'd end up in the ER if he didn't. last Th-Sat, I was in the toilet :cry: . I rebounded pretty nicely this week. Now, I'm back on the chemo and have to hope I don't sink back into the depths because we've got Ed in LA one week from tomorrow. please send your thought, vibes, prayers, whatever that I'm in LA a week from tomorrow. I'll be doing everything I can do this week to not have a repeat of last week!

    btw - I had a dream last night...I was second row, dead center for Ed....and slept thru the whole show :wtf:
