yes, Having Newark 2 weeks after the last date, I would hope that there will be more northeast dates, like Philly, since 11/14 is a Monday, how about Philly on Saturday 11/12?? One can hope....0 -

good to know! I am hoping for a weekend date so I can take my sons, but a weekday in Philly would work too, would just be a late night for them.
I saw Cage Elephant is opening, bleh. Bring back Motorhead0 -

I need a MA or CT date. It will be my 7 year old son Brandon's 1st concert. He fell in love w/ Wasting Light the 1st time he heard me listening to it. Now he's starting to listen to the Foo's back catalog - just like I used to do when I discovered a band growing up. He called me right after he got off the school bus today because he knew more dates we're being announced today.0

Just make sure he is ready to hear Dave drop the f-bomb. A LOT. And bring earplugs. I took my 3 sons to see Foo in 2008, so they were 8, 14, 13 at the time. It was not their first concert and they enjoyed it.0 -
Definite thumbs-up on the earplugs. Some of their shows are very, very loud, and there are hi-fidelity earplugs that retain the range while limiting the volume.
Should be fantastic, as always. My daughter became an instant Foos fan when she went to their show for the first time a handful of years ago. By 12, she was on the rail at a RATM concert... wearing earplugs... with me blocking out the mayhem behind us. Anything to open up these kids to something other than club hip-hop and hipster indie cool kid bands! Is it too much to ask for a full-blown Temple of the Dog set? Probably.0 -
I received the CD from Amazon today and I'm waiting for the DVD in one week. Very good album. Rope, Dear Rosemary, These Days, A Matter of Time, Miss the Misery, I Should Have Known and Walk.Athens 2006 / Milton Keynes 2014 / London 1&2 2022 / Seattle 1&2 2024 / Dublin 2024 / Manchester 2024 / New Orleans 20250

Newch91 wrote:Yep. They haven't announced any New York or Boston dates. You know those dates will - hopefully - be announced on Monday. Maybe a Hartford date will announced with those.
I'm hoping the same too but didn't want to take the chance (I'm a total concert spaz, always worried that I will "miss out") Not sure when MSG renovations will be done but it would be totally awesome to see them there! Newark is a breeze to get to though, I probably wouldn't have gotten IZOD tix if I had known they would also play Newark.

Just scored a pair of pretty good seats for the 10/9 DCO show! It's gonna be a rockin' fall!!! Thanks Foos for bringing the Love to Denver."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience." Mark Twain0

That is similar to what I did last tour - I got tickets to IZOD (about 2.5 hour drive), then they announced Philly (about 1 hour away). So this is killing me, watching Newark go on sale and letting it pass. Really, really hope they announce Philly (and that its on a weekend, please)0 -

I saw that too. They really like their solo cups and ice0 -
Nabbed floor tickets to catch them at the Forum... my new home away from home with Prince, System of a Down, Soundgarden, and the Foos all in 2011.Is it too much to ask for a full-blown Temple of the Dog set? Probably.0

The earplugs were always in my plan. I was listening to the Wembley show while lounging in the pool the other day w/ my wife - and her comment was "does he always swear this much? That's not appropriate for a 7 year old". So of course I told her "no - it's just this show. The last show I went to, he barely swore at all".

This album on vinyl sounds so freakin' good! Analog is the way to record if you want an album to sound great on vinyl.Post edited by Newch91 onShows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

Just snagged GA ticket to their Newark show, and already got a ticket to see them at the IZOD center lower level behind GA. So pumped, saw them in 08 and they kicked ass, and now ther playing 10 more songs per set list.
Holy shit....
Really hoping for some of these to be played, but doubt most of them. I should hop on their boards and beg and plead: New Way Home, Alone + Easy Target, Up In Arms (which they have been playing), Wind Up, Gimme Stitches, Come Alive, ahh theres too many but I know I'll be satisfied anyway.MSG II 5/21/10
