Wondering if somebody could answer this for me. During my college years I wish big into Phish, and I ended up going on a road trip to The Great Went, August 16th and 17th, 1997 in Limestone Maine. Even though this was a 2-day run, where does it rank as far as Phish 2-3 day runs?
Also, if anybody has good quality (does sound board exist?) I would do a B&P for them.
I didn't create this, but man you're about to see the greatest thing ever....

First off I'm jealous u were at the Went. Shit was sick. It's musically probably the second best festival right behind The Clifford Ball. Also the Went Gin is considered by many to be the best Bathtub Gin of all time. 14 minutes of straight hose! Here's the Phish spreadsheet with pretty much every show ever. There's a solid FM SBD for the Went on there:

Hope you enjoyed it man. Wish i could experience a first show again. The Kill Devil Falls and Waves from last night are the heat!"What can you expect when you're on top? You know? It's like Napoleon. Well, well, I have to say, that was as much fun I have at a show as I have had in a very long time. The band was without a doubt, incredible. I have always loved the old school jam bands but these guys, well they are just at another level of musicianship, true artist. Usually when I broaden my horizons with other bands, it is one and out. But I can see myself making an effort to see these guys multiple times. I love Bethel Woods and the fans were serious about their buzz too. Security was very, very lenient and let people have a good time.~!~ Peace ~!~ Love ~!~ Pearl Jam ~!~0 -

OKay, all. What was the best show of the 3 day run in Bethel. I only went to the Friday show as I wanted to relax at the campsite on Saturday and I had a Mem. Day party to go to on Sunday.
What was your favorite and why?0 -
I've listened to all 3 but I was at Saturday and I'd have to go with that one. So many highlights.

Sunday was a bit of a letdown, but the slave was gorgeous..."What can you expect when you're on top? You know? It's like Napoleon. Little bummed about all the tracks from Joy on Sunday, I would have swapped it for Tuesday's Holmdel show in a heartbeat. Overall, awesome time though. Great shows, great band.0 -

Sounds like some of the jam vehicle songs from last night went absolutely nowhere. Odd.
now playing: AC/DC Bag from 8/13/96. Best ever? Maybe.Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"

nice! phish shows can be more addicting than PJ shows if they are on fire..."What can you expect when you're on top? You know? It's like Napoleon.
