I wish I could go to this, except I'd rather be at PJ20. The Denver run is in the soccer stadium, unlike the MIle HIgh Music Fest, with all the side soccer fields for camping. So a great Labor Day Weekend in Denver. Details here:

This would have been perfect for PJ20.

Man I would love to go to Colorado and Super Ball.

Guess I'll have to be content with my own 3 show run - Camden MPP MPP.
    Fenway 1 & 2 2016
    MSG 1 & 2 2016
    Central Park 2015
    Barclays 2, Seattle 2013
    MSG 1 & 2 2010
    Boston 1 & 2 2006
    Boston 1 2004

i'm doing camden and mpp. and superball.

and if there are other PJ dates in the northeast besides canada, i will be all over this run too. i contemplated the gorge-tahoe run, but there is no chance i'm trekking from the gorge to hollywood bowl in a day, i'm too old for that shit. and if i skip a show, that will be the best of the leg lol.

Yeah I have 2 Alpharetta, Charlotte, Raleigh and Superball plus PJ20... I would love to do the gorge and lake tahoe but I'm already broke as a joke... just crazy what a tour this is shaping up to be. If 1-1-11 was an indicator of what this summer is gonna be like than Phish phans are in for a real treat.. Just my two cents.

If PJ20 is on the anniversary release date of TEN 8/27 weekend, then I'll be going to both 8-) Hoping to be at Alpine Valley Labor Day weekend, :o if not I"ll probably go to 2 of the phish shows. I have a condo in the mountains & my sister inlaw lives in Lakewood, so getting there would be pretty easy  .

just unloaded my GW tix and am going to do sat. vibes instead (moe. and Jane's!!). I guess only superball for me this summer (unless I can find a $20 lawn ticket to GW). enjoy the summer folks

i think lawn tickets will be cheap this summer. very few shows have sold out. either way enjoy vibes. not a huge moe fan, but Furthur and Janes should be awesome.

ya, lawn's on the bay for GW are 35 right now, i'm assuming they will go down in the next couple weeks. Not going to see Furthur (they are friday) but sat. also has deep bananna playing so that's another bonus, and I'm a die hard moe. fan so i'm alittle biased on them.

lawn tickets for most of the NE shows will be $20 or less. i got into both MPPs for free last year, and both camdens for $20 each (pavillion all 4).

Superball is going to be a last minute decision for me. I only live about 90 minutes form Watkins Glen, so why not?
Anyway, do you think that I will have a difficult time getting tickets if I wait until the week of Superball?

The good news........... Labor Day Weekend in Wisconsin..............Seeing Pearl Jam 8-)

Out of 3 guys trying, we scored 2 sets of reserved seating

Your right though, this would've been a better place for PJ 20.............at least for me ;)

    Hey guys,

Wondering if somebody could answer this for me. During my college years I wish big into Phish, and I ended up going on a road trip to The Great Went, August 16th and 17th, 1997 in Limestone Maine. Even though this was a 2-day run, where does it rank as far as Phish 2-3 day runs?

Also, if anybody has good quality (does sound board exist?) I would do a B&P for them.
The last PJ show I went to was the best PJ show ever, that is until they come around again of course

  • doin two nights here in ATL. cant wait last years fourth of july shows were amazing

First off I'm jealous u were at the Went. Shit was sick. It's musically probably the second best festival right behind The Clifford Ball. Also the Went Gin is considered by many to be the best Bathtub Gin of all time. 14 minutes of straight hose! Here's the Phish spreadsheet with pretty much every show ever. There's a solid FM SBD for the Went on there:

Well, well, I have to say, that was as much fun I have at a show as I have had in a very long time. The band was without a doubt, incredible. I have always loved the old school jam bands but these guys, well they are just at another level of musicianship, true artist. Usually when I broaden my horizons with other bands, it is one and out. But I can see myself making an effort to see these guys multiple times. I love Bethel Woods and the fans were serious about their buzz too. Security was very, very lenient and let people have a good time.

OKay, all. What was the best show of the 3 day run in Bethel. I only went to the Friday show as I wanted to relax at the campsite on Saturday and I had a Mem. Day party to go to on Sunday.

What was your favorite and why?
  • okblueduckokblueduck Posts: 427
I've listened to all 3 but I was at Saturday and I'd have to go with that one. So many highlights.
