I feel born again after Mansfield. My 1st show ever. What an experience. Good tunes. Good people. Good beer. Good buddies. I'm converted. I don't know how its taken me this long to see these guys.

    Divided Sky
    Instant Karma!!!!!!!!!!
    Back on the Train
    Faulty Plan
    Bug
The whole Meatstick groove in the 2nd set
And Suzy Greeenberg as the icing on the cake

I haven't felt that alive in a long time guys. I was going nuts.

Hell yeah brother. Glad you had a good time.

Awesome! Now it's time to clear your schedule and get to a few more to keep the momentum going. Anyone else going to be in Camden on Friday or at Merriweather Sat/Sun?

Awesome! I cannot wait for tomorrow... and saturday... and sunday! ahh its like three Christmases in a row. I'm going to be in Camden as early as possible due to a much needed day off work, which translates to a copious amount of tailgating. As for MPP, I've never been there, and I'm reallllllly excited. They've been on fire thus far.

I think I will be doing the 5k at SB9 too, (and not a wook). hahahahaha! :D

    GET EXCITED!

Also, how many do you need for a whiffle ball team? We may all be able to join forces. I don't play ball like a girl ;)

I'd be down for running at SB. Do they have showers for the runners? I didn't run at IT and don't feel like unnecessary sweating if I can't shower.
  • they will have showers, but they are the portable ones I think. I think i'd be up for whiffle ball as well. Might be cool to get a PJ team going for it. These next two days of work are going to be torture. I fly down to DC tomorrow after work and I already can't focus. Never been to MPP and I always excited to check out a venue that is new to me.

That Divided Sky is raging. It's probably the best version from Phish 3.0 imo. http://vimeo.com/24842234

  • Had a blast at the MPP shows this weekend! Steam was awesome. Might be my favorite new song.

Had a blast. Julius, Rock and Roll, 2001, Divided Sky, Halley's, ROSES, Albuquerque, Suzy.. ahh so many good ones. I liked MPP but the cops were crazy, unfortunately made the lot scene a little less enjoyable. They sounded great though, can't wait for Super Ball. Hope everyone had a great time, and eventually made it home safely.

What is the difference between these two?:

    GA Weekend Pass Price:
    $200.00 plus $11.60 service fee

Glen Close Camping Weekend Pass Price:
    $370.00 plus $16.70 service fee

The website didn't give enough info (or, I just overlooked it.)

Do I get a camping site with the $200 ticket?

from what i understand the extras you get with glenn close camping are seperate festival entrance, private showers/toilets, and you are closer to the venue. not really worth it imo,

glen close definitely does not seem worth it, but there are glen close tickets on phantasy tour and craigslist for less than face, so you can get them cheaper if you are so inclined.

i'm gonna rage the pay per view stream tonight, if you have the cash y'all should too. i want to support these streams because they are a great idea and want to see them continue!

depending on the distance from stage to the camping area, glen close might be worth it if you have the money, probably less sketch factor there. Plumbing in the bathrooms is also a good incentive to get it. I'll be in the regular camping area, probably wishing for plumbing.

Thanks for the replies on Glen Close and General camping, all.

I still have not bought my ticket, as I am still on the fence about plans for that weekend. But, if I do go, I will be rolling solo. Is anyone else going alone? And, if I go alone, am I a loser?

p.s. The reason I am thinking about going alone is because my girlfriend's (she came to Bethel with me) father will be in the middle of his 2 week visit to our place. I think I will simply want to get away and party or a few days.
