    Nope, driving from CT.

Considering driving from Boston. Not 100% yet but it is on the table.

So I made a hotel reservation but am strongly considering camping at Snug Harbor instead. I've done the camping thing at Deer Creek countless times but don't know what to expect with this place. Has anyone ever stayed there for a concert? Shuttle too and from AV is VERY appealing.

Driving from upstate NY. Google says it is only 800 miles and a 13 1/2 hour drive, but if I drive like a real person, then maybe only 11 1/2...

I like this option as well. Do you plan on driving or flying to Wisconsin?

I'm driving from Iowa. You could probably check a tent if flying.

ANYONE ever stayed at Snug Harbor? Bueller? Anyone? Anyone?

I just made a camping reservation at Snug Harbor. This is one of the closest campgrounds to the venue (15 miles). Here are the details if anyone else is interested:
    http://snugharborwi.com

$20/person/night for tent camping. You have to pay for 3 nights since it's a holiday weekend so $60/person. One car limit per campsite. Additional cars must park in the lot adjacent to the campground.

Fish fry on Friday night, breakfast served Sat and Sun morning. Kareoke after the show Saturday night.

Roundtrip party bus is $40/person/day. Usually leaves at 3pm, but they'll adjust based on when the music starts. The bus stays in the lot until the end of the show so you can pack a cooler and leave it and anything else in the bus if you want. Kinda expensive, but nice to not have to worry about a designated driver.

Call to make a reservation. You need a credit card to hold the reservation. They will charge your card the full amount on August 2nd (based on Sept 2nd check-in). No refunds after that. Otherwise, you can cancel before then without penalty.

Sweet! I booked at Bark River-- but this is much closer, has a shuttle, and seems much nicer.

Was just checking out camping at AV and found this. Says camping was OKed for 2011 but interesting paragraph about midway through says if multiple bands play at AV and show runs 8hrs or more no show can be scheduled the day b4 or day after. hmmm guess show will run 7hrs 55mins.

I'll be driving from NY... My brother is coming and is a huge Packer fan. He is crossing his fingers for the season to start on time so we can drop big $$ on the Thursday night season opener Vs the Saints at Lambeau. I would like to go as well for all the historical stuff

    Cmon Godell, make it happen
