Damn, the deluxe songbook is out of stock!
  • Will the Blu-Ray be region coded?

Time to take a chance and cross fingers I guess!

What do you mean "take a chance"? You've got a time machine, Doc! You could just go a couple of months forward, come back & tell us (and bring some back for us, would ya?)

    :lol::lol::lol: well played

Did anyone hear from 10C about the hardback book on Amazon, and if it is the same as the Songbook in goods?
Prices are similar in the $ to £ conversion, Amazon info on the item is sketchy.

I sent an email yesterday about those two versions on amazon as compared to the cd versions (songbook and just cd) that 10c are selling
    no reply

there's a £5 difference and no other info on Amazon

The only reason I have not ordered yet from 10C is that we are planning a trip to South Africa starting Mid-June and chances are slim that it would arrive to Israel in time. I need some Ukelele road music!

Amazon.UK has free shipping to South Africa that takes 8 - 10 days, so I might have to make the order trough them.
Still can't believe I met Mike Mccready at the Guggenheim and got a pic with him!!!!!

I have pre ordered both from Amazon and then I will cancel the just cd before the release date. I'm only interested in the songbook as it includes the cd anyway, for £4 difference the songbook seems a great deal! And with Amazon pre order if the price goes up you still pay the lowest price.
    But wheres the dvd though?
  • Is the songbook included with the LP the same as the deluxe songbook and CD?

Besides, I'd like to be able to listen to it as soon as I can!

I made the hard decision and ordered the vinyl from 10Club. Why? Because I thought like what if the songbook is for the pre-order only and won't be available in record stores and what if the vinyl will be only sold from the 10Club or be limited but they are just not telling it and it will sell out in a few days... Has it appeared for pre-order anywhere else?

Yes, it probably is more likely to feature exclusive stuff from here, and yes, the vinyl is probably quite limited. Knowing both these things however, I still can't bring myself to preorder it!

And I have to admit I surrendered to the devilish temptation and today I ordered both, the songbook & dvd, strongly hoping the latter will be visible where I am
How stupid can we be at times??

I'm confused about this as well. With Amazon UK describing the CD as 'Hardback Book', I assumed they meant it was in the same style as Into The Wild (or the 10C version of Backspacer), with the hard back cover. ...If I'm right, it probably means that the Hardback Book on Amazon is the same or very similar to the 10C version of the CD (with the 40 page book), and is not the same as the Songbook.

I also want to know if the CD that comes with the Songbook, is exactly the same as the seperate CD you can buy from 10C? ...With the same packaging and 40 page book. ...Or is the CD somehow packaged differently, and incorporated within the songbook?

I'm confused about a lot of things with this presale actually! Usually 10C provide a lot more information when a presale starts with a big post in the news section... rather than us having to soley rely on the limited information provided in the goods section. I'm finding myself trying to guess a lot of things to be honest.

I think it's just a case of biding my time, and hopefully more info will slowly filter out of 10C, or amazon etc. There's plenty of time before release day yet... I don't want to rush into the presale, until I know exactly what I'm buying.

I see that the Blu Ray is now described as Region 0. I assume that means it's region free, and we'll be able to play it here in Europe??

  • The DVD and the Blu-ray is up for preorder at some german online shops (jpc.de, weltbild.de).
So it seems to be pretty sure that Water on the Road will be released in Europe.

Nice one... that sounds promising then. Probably just need to wait for them to appear on websites here in Europe. I would feel more comfortable buying DVD/Blu Ray from a British based website, because of the region encoding issues.

Germany has the same region code as the UK, so you can buy it here if necessary.
But I'm pretty sure it'll also be released in the UK.

Amazon has a launch date of 30th May for that hard back CD thingy, and 10c say they songbook isn't out until June so I am now thinking they aren't one and the same.

    **INFO FROM 10C TODAY*** :D

Difference between the Vinyl booklets and Deluxe Song Book? The LP contains a 44 page lyrics/credits booklet and a 48 page songbook with Chords/lyrics.

Without giving away too many details....The Deluxe song book is Hard bound, 9"x12", 100 pages, and significantly different than the LP/CD inserts.

CD 40 page booklet and LP 44 page booklet, same content . The additional pages are due to the difference in format size.

Difference between the CD version and the CD contain in the songbook: CD in songbook comes in paper sleeve, no inserts, same content.

Vinyl will be available at Indy Retail and International stores in June.

Vinyl is a single LP, 180 gram, Black vinyl, 33rpm. PRESALE ORDERS WILL RECEIVE A DIGITAL MP3 DOWNLOAD LINK SENT VIA EMAIL ON RELEASE DATE.

DVD and BLUERAY have same content/packaging. Both are REGION 0.

Thanks for the info. I e-mailed 10Club if they can add the dvd to the vinyl I ordered yesterday or if they rather cancel it and I'll do a new order with both. No answer yet. Has anyone any experience of adding another item to an existing pre-order?

edit: received an answer and they cancelled the order and I'll make a new with the vinyl and the dvd.
