    Oh yeah

    Should the Rangers qualifuy for the postseason ,
    it'll be the first time since 1992 where all 3 Garden teams made the post season , ( Rangers , Knicks and St Johns )
    I think its the first time since 1996 or 1997 that Knicks and Rangers were both in the post season .

    Mathematically, the magic number is 5 points to clinch a playoff spot.
    Also , out of our final 3 games, we can afford to lose 1 game in overtime or a shootout .
    We dont want a tie with Carolina, because they have us beat in the 2nd Tie-Breaker category -- they beat us in the season series 6 points to 4 points.

    So another words, we must finish with more points overall .
