look at torts crying at the isles bench for putting out the #1 pp :lol:

is that why he was mad at that point? I didnt have the sound on and I was wondering what he could be complaining about. I am a Tortorella fan (cut his teeth as an assistant with the Sabres), but that was a little much for a #1 PP.
yes thats why he was mad and the fact his team got destroyed

his post game press conference was gold

mayday was talking bout the eyeroll by torts during that final pp where the isles putout moulson-jt-pap(their 1st pp line) not the eye rolling at the goons

neiley lets be real here, gillies can't play hockey at all period. i hate the guy with a passion.

neiley the isles coach was sending a message to the rags and the league and i have no problem with it. i didn't know sending a message is ruining the game of hockey . would you have a problem if the rangers did that to the isles? i doubt you would, you'd be cheering it and saying yea torts, good job for sending out our goons. oh the irony

Well, we'll be rooting for the Sabres to win against Carolina on Sat,,

    now thats irony.

And our horrendous PPs failure is what allowed the Isles to breathe life back into their game,

I mean, (2 ) 5-on-3 PPs for NYRs, and they couldnt even muster up a halfway decent scoring chance, they were just dreadful.

    PS

Torts Post game press conference was a joke,

I mean, address these questions, he dummied up like Anne Frank .
    It was a joke !

that Isles coach does look like a bum.

Yeah, Im talking about when Tortorella kept staring down at the Isles bench with about 5 min left.

Putting out the #1 pp unit isnt really BS. Especially when you look at the standings. If its Vancouver beating Edmonton or Ottawa handily and they are rolling #1 units with a few minutes left, its a little overboard... but the Isles are trying to instill a work ethic and message to carry over into next season I think.

It absolutely is a ploy for Torts to take some of the attention and pressure off his team and attract it to himself.

Don't even know why or what it is that keeps me hopeful,
even at this late juncture and the
outright pathetic display that we've been witnessing the last few games.
I'm figuring we need at least 2 out of the final 4 games.
( tough & formidable Flyers team up next )
We definitely need at least 1 point from Philly,
    and as for tonights schedule,
we need losses by Buffalo ( facing Washington ) and Carolina ( facing Isles ).

:problem:   :wtf:  :shifty:

Fucking NO HELP from any of the competitions' rivals on tonights schedule.

We knew the Isles had gotten their rocks off,
scoring all those goals against us the other night, losing to Carolina

but for the Sabres and Capitals to go into a shootout , thus yielding a 3 point game( 2 + 1 ) for ALL of our competition ?

    Nightmare !

I completly agree about last nights games. Didn't help my Leafs. Can't believ the Caps didn't disose of the Sabres. But should the Rangers feel they want to help the Leafs cause today, by all means go ahead :D

The formidable Flyers are going to come out feisty aginst our Black-n-Blueshirts,
seems last night they ( Flyers ) lost that #1 seed, and theyre going to be pissed !
Not to mention the drumming we gave them the last meeting ( 7-0 @ MSG )

Could this be a first round preview ?

We'll see how we fare !
