Great frame jobs. Question re the Christchurch 09 poster from Klausen - I was recently watching the Mike Tyson mini-series on Animal Planet and they reference that his face tattoo was inspired by the Moai warriors of New Zeland - I know I know, random, but is that the same influence as the Klausen print?
    Wow, they look awesome! :D

ugh, this thread has sooooo many pages. I'm too lazy to go through it all....I'm looking for help & ideas on how to frame my London 2010 poster.

I'm thinking a fairly broad frame in dark silver/gun-metal - not too fancy. Not sure what colour the mount shd be (the thick card that goes in the frame around the poster. And I also wanna include the ticket stub and 10C armband in the frame. Apparently it's gonna cost me close to NOK1000 here in Norway :P Or shd I do just the poster? Any help is appreciated

DARK blue top mat, bright red second mat. I've framed a couple of them already. Trust me.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

...mounts/mats are almost as expensive as the frame itself here, so I don't wanna add another. Plus I'll be including my ticket and armband from the show (which added to the total cost). I'm happy with my choice and they're happy to reframe it if I'm not satisfied 8-)

apart from the 98 series... i totally agree with you... there's just something so "arty" about it... nice job with the frame.

Yes you are right, 96 and 98 it's all different category, there is something cool about this poster and it's really rare for Ames to print on the black paper which I love so much.

This frame job is amazing. I have the same poster signed by the band and I am looking to frame it. I might steal everything you did. Hope you don't mind. :D It looks great! Did you do it yourself or take it somewhere?

What show did you see them at? I was in DC, got to meet them all. Amazing night.

I framed this myself using American Frame dot com. If anyone wants mat colors, frame type, etc. shoot me a PM and Ill send you my exact order. It came to $118. Sooo worth it.

Edit: I went to the NYC show. It was freaking amazing!
