They'd have a shot against any of the other bands. Tough draw getting the Beatles. And I think a lot of those other bands are better than the Beatles... But I voted for our boys!

i posted on FB, but run the risk of having more ppl vote for The Beatles. PJ is better than them though in reality.

  • I just voted we've got it up to

    Beatles 69%

    Pearl Jam 31%

We need to show big support, I'm going on a tour of public library computers tomorrow, all you need is a different IP to vote again!
...to live in the present tense...
  • I wouldn't worry too much about winning this battle. The Beatles won't be toppled. But the important thing to remember is that we can all move on with our lives once this is over. I hope.

This is another pj fan forum I let them know of this tournament. If u guys know of any other forum, spread the word! The fact we brought it from 20% to 41% in one night speaks volumes! Even if we lose we are gonna go down swinging! Plus the majority of the ten club members are just waking up. The Who has a close one too, let's vote for eddies band too! Lol
  • Im gonna see if we can strike a deal with van halens biggest fan club. Im gonna tell them, "look, u guys are losing to guns and roses, were losing to the Beatles. We'll help u out, if u help us out. Plus let's be honest here, ull hve a better chance beating pearl jam than going up against the Beatles!" Haha

Yes, they were. But boy bands were revolutionary at the time, and they developed into the most innovative band in history, pioneering the modern album in the process.

Of course, I voted for Pearl Jam anyway, for some reason. 8-) :?

I'll also add they were one of the first bands to actually write and perform their own songs.
