    Damn. Honestly, some of u guys are taking this POLL tooooooo personal. Its not about who's the better band. Its about voting for YOUR favorite band. That's all. This whole, " I can't vote against the Beatles" is pretty damn gay. Its all in fun. The whole purpose is for everyone to vote for their fav. Band see who wins. Even with some of u guys voting against PJ, wed still get our asses kicked! Might as well go for the band u follow the most!

    I personally love the Beatles, have all their cds, love their music. Nothing against them, they prob are the best ever, but at the end of the day I bleed yellow! (ledbetter).... I dnt go against the band that's MY inspiration, the band I follow the most. Pj all day,every day baby!

    i always find myself liking the later stuff of bands. it's a weird thing i have. i guess people like the later stuff cause some band's take "chances" as they get older.

    Ppl, to each his own and for goodness sake, it JUST A POLL! Calm down, vote for who u want to, cheat if you think that's necessary. I'm sure members of PJ and the surviving members of the Beatles are not losing any sleep over an insignificant poll.

    Their musical careers, styles, influence and abilities are incomparable and like chalk & cheese in many ways. But I will say this: I've heard PJ and EV cover the Beatles at their gigs.... anyone heard of the opposite being done by Macca these days? PJ proudly walks the path The Beatles (and other 'pioneering bands' paved) - adding their own touch...and I bet they'd maintain they're proud to do so.

    Oh, and I so laughed uncontrollably at the popcorn smiley :lol::lol::lol:

    First four track recording (I want to hold your hand).
    Artificial Double Tracking was created during work on The Beatles Revolver.

    Those two things alone changed the way music has been recorded ever since.

    I suggest those of you saying the beatles are overrated actually sit down and listen to rubber soul thru abbey road. Their musical evolution and creativity in that short period of time is something that no band has ever done.
