    I don't use the "neutral" face for when I feel neutral.

    If someone says something stupid or tries to be funny and fails, I'll add this :| guy to show I'm not impressed....at all....as if I'm saying "you're a dick".

    So I don't mind him actually....he just needs to be renamed to "you're a dick".

    I don't really think it's a neutral face.

    I use it as a blank face (for jokes) or as a sad face (for serious stuff).

    To me, the icon for a sad face, (this one :( or this one :cry: ) looks too immature to use most of the time.

    To me, the so-called blank face seems like the sad expression an older person would use sometimes.( :| )
