    yeah dude it's not gonna happen...have you ever seen spring weekend? they can't do anything to stop it aside from using brute police force, and that would just make things messier than they are. honestly at this point the "safest" thing they can do is let it happen as usual just like they have been every year.

    Yeah, there's definitely no way they can stop people from celebrating. It seems the problem is non-UConn students going up there and causing a lot of the trouble.

    they've been having this problem for as long as i can remember - which, my memory is a little foggy ;) but, i can remember this shit happening back when i had just graduated high school...some ten odd years ago :? :oops: when we were suiting up to party w/ the college kids. all they can do is beef up security, and arrest pretty much everyone - but yes, they seem to target the non-students. word to the wise - if your not a student, stay away. if you are a student...party on!!! just dont flip over any cars and set them on fire...that never bodes well for anyone :lol:

    the stereo in my car decided its too freakin cold to operate properly. thank god for the ipod hook up. at least it plays that, tho i wasnt able to control volume or skip tracks. hopefully it will be feeling better on the ride home. i just got new door speakers for christmas...im not ready to splurge for a new deck :cry::cry: cant wait to see what gets dumped on us tomorrow!!! They say its supposed to be warm enough for mostly rain, but i'll believe it when i see it. its freakin arctic. i need a snow day!!!

    Hang on in there with the weather...just stay safe. Unlost Dogs, I keep reading about how great your dogs are and looking at my rather porky pooch...getting motivated to get him some serious excercise. He'll never be show material though :)
    Who from our local chapter of CT is thinking of going to this big festival thingy in the summer? I know you've probably posted on the other forum, but it's easier to just ask you all here....

    Well, I'm not from CT but as long as the PJ Festival is in the continental US, I will be there. Already have a chunk of change saved up and will continue to save until something definate is announced. I will definately be going.
