i noticed bout the who. must be that who radar i have. lol. someone fan did a who compilation and it was really amazing. probably the best compilation a fan has done besides green habit and this compilation that you are all doing.
Yeah, I would rather cut one of the other bits than Act of Love or another 'proper' song. How about Improv 3? I know it adds to the mood, but it would be hard to justify compared to other songs I think. Am about to listen to the latest version.
Thanks for the words metsfan
The only problem with cutting the speech is that its only a minute long, we would still be 54 seconds over

"Act of Love" is a kick ass song. It has my vote too.

The SP tracks had very minor distortion on them during Version 1, so I had to turn them down a notch to elimate that problem.
The Melbourne tracks had some slight clicking noises, so I turned the sound down on that to make those not as noticable.
Let me know if you are still having SQ problems with these tracks and I can replace them with their Version 1 counterparts. Personally I thought the entire Version 2 mix sounded a 100% better than the version 1 mix, but if the SQ on Version 2 is a problem, then all changes can be reversed in seconds
I noticed it most on STBC - I think when you turn the volume down it means when I have to turn it up to the level I want it at, there is more chance of distortion.
I didn't notice any problems on the Version 1, but this morning I was struggling - and noticed STBC right away. When I compared it to Version 1 the old version didn't produce the same problem.
If you are happy to revert to the unchanged version 1 versions, I would be happier!! I think it also depends on what device or system you are using. I listen to all these mixes on my headphones (one of three sets), and on my mp3 players - phone and ipod, and I change them around a bit. For me the Vitalogy has sounded the most satisfying.
I don't want this to be a stumbling block though. The overall compilation is brilliant. Maybe the best yet!
Is the main thing we are now looking at - which track to cut?? Overally I think the tracklist is great now. Will have a listen right through in the next couple of hours looking for places to cutCancel my subscription to the Ressurection

S**t, I was gonna say cut the speech off too....
After roughly a dozen listens to the improvs only (what got me feeling slightly inebriated by the way - maybe we should put a disclaimer of some sort about that), I've come to the conclusion that Improv#2 should go. 2.00 min'. Would we be good then ?0 -

Would you like me to revert back to just the Version 1 SP tracks, or both SP and Melbourne? I am under the impression that it is just the SP tracks that you are not liking.I am the artist formally known as "Cameron4President"....

If you don't mind doing so, that would be great, thanks. SP only would be fine. I think it probably varies depending on what you're listening to the stuff on, but I'm a bit chained to my MP3 players.Cancel my subscription to the Ressurection

Cool, thanks.
Is the current proposal that we cut 'Improv 2?'
Shall I listen with that in mind? I'm gonna ask you my favorite question: 'What's the next stage Cameron4President'?

Yeah, the current idea is that we cut Improv #2. This way we can keep "Act of Love" and be at an approx. running time of 1:19:54.
I would say that the next stage would be finalizing the track order, and I will try to send you guys Version 3 late tonight/early tomorrow morning your time (2:00am -3:00am). If Version 3 gets the thumbs up, then we will be ready to release it on Friday morning (East Coast Time).

I will be replacing the Version 2 mixed SP tracks with the Version 1 mixed SP tracks, and removing improv #2. Give it a good listen or two tomorrow and we can discuss on here. I have to work tomorrow, but I will not be busy at all, so I will have a lot of time to discuss this and comment on this thread. If you guys give me the green light and tell me its ready for release tomorrow, then I will post it on my blog on Friday.I am the artist formally known as "Cameron4President"....

Techinically speaking with the time difference, I don't usually go to bed until 6:00am France time, so I guess I don't sleep at night...if I lived in France.
