So this is the Death on Two Legs that What Records was talking about. i think it looks really cool. Deluxe version for me from What.
And on a side note, why do people think the band needs to check with us before they make decisions? People, this is their band, not ours. They can release their stuff however they would like. The term "sold out/selling out" sold itself out a long time ago. It is a different day and age now than when that term was first coined.0 -
if it sounds like LO2L with all of the songs blending together perfectly like it's from one concert i'll be happy. i love the way LO2L sounds0

Yay! Finally found out this was a load of crap... as far as an over analysed ANNIVERSARY styled release goes. Anything like a retrospective live album a band this big puts out (from a superfan's perspective) would have been much better co-ordinated by the fans and their varied requests and this whole package seems a little weak.
...and yet most of us will still buy some version of this because we love this band and anything it releases belongs in our collection.
Ten Deluxe was special and creative in presentation. As a follow up to LO2L I guess this fits the bill... but why the Deluxe Editions and hooplah for this?0 -

Huh? :?:
Let me re-state here. The songs on this compliation could be coming from shows NOT RELEASED like the VFC tour in 2004. They could be culled from other performances that weren't made available. Before people get all pissy about already owning these songs (or the boots they're on), take a minute to think about the number of shows that were not released.www.cluthelee.com0 -

You could be correct.... however I have a STRONG suspicion that the songs are going to be collected from boots. Remastered yes... but from shows already released.
I'm not complaining though. .....

I'm surprised they included Arms Aloft and Public Image. These two songs alone will be worth the price of the album.0

They will not be collected from the bootlegs. Pearl Jam has all of their masters from all of their shows. I am sure for this live album they will have the highest quality available.0 -

Not complaining at all...
And I don't think they'll be remastered FROM the boots... what I meant was... they will be songs that have already been released.
And yes... it will be highest quality... BUT of songs already released is all I'm saying.Toronto 2000

When you think about that too.. it actually adds on to the advantage of this release.
Yes, the boots are out and a lot of people own them.
But I like the idea that they've taken the time to really master one single collection and make it sound great.Toronto 2000

they're going to sound amazing, of course!“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”0 -

I've heard Arms Aloft and it's good...
