    That was a hell of a shot.
    I read on lohud they were saying they offer autographed bat, ball, hat, jersey and lunch with arod in exchange for the ball.
    Not sure if that is true but if i caught the ball i'd be like can i just have lunch with Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera instead :D

    came across a post elsewhere I thought was interesting....

    A-Rod was just waiting so he could hit 600 on the same day he hit 500 three years ago. He also made sure to put it in Memorial Park so no fan could hold it hostage. Clever guy.
