    choppy and unorganized.
    there are constant lightning flashes out over and across Jamaica Bay .
    the tracker on WABC/ 7
    has this tornado directly over the south shore of LI and rockaway
    in about 1 hour from now,
    the storm is moving over from bergen cty NJ right now .( 833pm )
    scary !

    What do you guys think if joba is part of this? I know he's been bad and is due for a raise soon, I just hate to give up on him.

    i would hate to give up on him but i really think they fucked him up with these rules and starting bullpen staring bullpen ....

    that being said if a complete stud is available aka cliffy without a doubt ( even though thats over with)

    He's Young, rocket arm, 2 cent head we need Crash Davis. Seriously though, no way can you give up on this guy, instead of trading for an Starter, let Joba fill in and promote a kid from AAA for the b-pen.

    he cant start not stretched out enough

    and with all his back and forths its even more of a concern

    remember after the allstar break last year, for like 4 starts/3 weeks, the guy was unhittable, he can do it, but he's gotta learn how. id rather use him than trade him, he's pitched in ny, i don't care how great a trade seems, you never know when a guy gets to ny, if he can take the spotlight.

    I hear both of you. Gotta keep in mind he is due a good raise soon and the yanks clearly have no intention of him being a starter. They definitely fucked with him, I just don't see them giving him a chance to work it out in triple a. I hate to see him go.

    He has so much unworthy good will with yankees fans but his stuff is great. I can't see a way this trade goes down without him in it.

    What a horrible call to end today's game. Such a tease. Would have been bases loaded, down by three, two outs, bottom nine, A-Rod at the plate, sitting on 599, one swing makes it 600 and wins the game in walk off fashion and the first base ump blows the call and calls Tex out to end the game. It was close, but the reply showed he was safe.

    When are they going to expand the use of instant reply in MLB? It is at the point now where it is impossible to watch a game without seeing at least one blown call. Give two "challenges" to each manager. Case closed.
