Posada is a trainwreck tonight, not that he's normally Johnny bench back there. He got a big break on the play at the plate. the throw beat Butler by 10 feet, but Jorge never tagged him. Another fine showing by The Men In Blew It. Then he nearly gets Tex killed

Yeah, man. He has been a bit of a disaster back there recently.

Couple pretty big passed balls before the all star break too.
  • a little minor caveat to the ARod/KC story. With Jeter's inside the park homer yesterday, it was his first since 1996....against Kansas City

And Girardi was on base for his first in 1996.

Soria and Greinke would both take a shit load to get. Dejesus could be out 6 weeks. I don't see the Yanks getting a starter. I would hope they just wait for Lee.

I am pretty sure until 2014. He has some good numbers. Always makes me nervous trading for a big time reliever though. You just never know.

Alright, heres a thought on Haren and this is just off the top of my head.

Haren probably means no Lee which I hate but, it also could bring Carl Crawford back into the mix. Is Haren/Crawford better than Lee? I think it may be but CC, Lee would be so awesome at the top of the rotation.

From what I am reading, a package to get Haren would start with Joba which I don't mind. They keep Montero and their catchers.

Sounds like the Yankees are getting somewhere with haren. I don't fucking want him! I want cliff lee. What do you think about trading for haren, sign lee, if pettitte retires keep haren, if he stays trade him?

What if they keep him for the remainder of the year?

I think nothing about it now. I'd make a terrible GM because I always think in the present. But I don't dislike Haren. He's not even 30 and who cares about money, the Yankees pick their nose and make a million bucks on something.
