    Thanks for posting this. Great read. There's really no one I would like to see running the team than the Steinbrenner family.

    Maybe Jeter will get involved when he retires. He has stated he'd like to be the owner or involved in an ownership capacity.

    I did not notice one Yankee in the crowd at the ESPY's. Anyone else? Strange... usually each champ team has at least one member of the team there. & they were in LA anyway.

    Henry entered Major League Baseball with his purchase of a small interest in the New York Yankees in 1991.     Ha. Actually it was my first time watching since Giants won the super bowl. I like reliving and celebrating the year when one of my teams wins. Plus im also a huge Brees fan. I gotta admit except for the fact the yanks were not there, it was a good show. They did a big special on coach Ed Thomas who got murdered in Iowa that was very touching.
