This happened in Turkey a couple months ago. The 16 yr old girl was buried by her family b/c she talked to a boy!!

Why are Jews vilified on this site by young people in my generation, while in Muslim countries these kind of atrocities toward women occur daily, and are NEVER mentioned? These people are barbaric!!!

Where's the ladies on this?

    I could probably name you a handful of Christians who murdered or abused women but I'm not going to generalize them all as being barbaric...

    Well, i wasn't being specific with buried alive.
    Although there was that woman who bludgeoned her children a few years ago in the name of God.

    All besides the point, which was that you cannot generalize an entire group of people for what some radical idiotic people do - which is what you've done in 3 threads already.
    Anyways, the case i was thinking of was Phillip Garrido... the man who kidnapped and raped (and fathered 2 children with) Jaycee Dugard.

    Women's rights is a serious issue and it extends through ALL walks of beliefs and religions, not just the "barbaric" muslims. There's no need to be ignorant and believe that muslim people are the only ones who commit atrocious acts.

    The Christians you sited for killing kids were all charged and convicted of the killings. They were denounced by their churches, and in most cases either crazy, or suffering from post-pardum depression.

    Either way, they were denounced, and jailed.

    NOT SO w/ the Muslims. Those people are still going to Mosque, and living normal lives. ]

    If your point is that there is a bias in terms of whose atrocities get mentioned on this board, then yes, I agree with you. I also agree that a thread about honor killings or girls getting buried alive might get a few responses but no real debate, because I don't think many people on here agree with honor killings and the like, or if anyone does, they likely won't admit to it publically.
