    Reading that Lincecum has either a blister issue, or possibly a cracked fingernail ... WHEW.

    May miss a start to let that heal ... thank God it's not the arm/shoulder/elbow.

    I can't see them doing again what they did with Timmy. It cost them million$$$$. The D-bags had a good player they called up a week later and he can't go to arbitration until next year.

    I don't think Bumgarner is coming up any time soon. He's had a loss of velocity and he's not pitching all that great in AAA right now (4.5 ERA, only 6.5 Ks per 9) ... he needs more time to work things out.

    Besides, pitching isn't this team's issue ... it's the offense.

    update on this ...

    Bumgarner has picked it up in AAA and is looking a little better. The strike out numbers are still down though. There was talk he may come up for Wellemeyer last week, but, then he had in incident agruing balls and strikes and got tossed from a game, and I think suspended for 3 games. So, that ended the call up talk.

    But, at least he's pitching a little better recently.
