    I received a message from the guy that owns Jib Machine records about Saturday night karaoke (if we're still even considering that...I have no idea) but he said this,

    "This is JT from Jib Machine Records. After reading your email, my recommendation for karaoke would be Becky's. It's a cool, little dive bar pretty much on the campus of Cleveland State University. Drinks are cheap and it's very close to the Q, Map Room, etc. Cleveland suburbs are pretty spread out so to avoid drinking and driving for those already staying downtown, Becky's would be the best call. Just my two cents!

    Take care and looking fwd to meeting you on the 9th!!"

    Do you guys want to even go this route? I can look into it more if you'd like.

    one of the more trendy places to hang out in Downtown Cleveland these days is East 4th St. There you can find a great place called Lola's (owner is iron chef Michael Symon), Zocala's a good Mexican place, a good Italian restaurant called La Strada and other bar type restaurants

    for those looking for the UFC, try Winking Lizard or the Corner Ally downtown. if not there, I'm sure there will be a place in the Warehouse District that will have it. I think there is a BW3s in the Flats too if all else should fail, though I'm not 100% sure it's still there since they are doing an overhaul on the flats

    I checked this site and there IS one location downtown on the list for UFC: Panini's Warehouse District. This is downtown and not far at all from the arena/stadium/most hotels. Just wanted to help out as a Clevelander ;)

    There is Karaoke @ a place called The Upper Deck in Berea tonight that starts at 9. Cool place and plenty of free parking.
