    Price can be really good - he has shown he can play extremely well. The problem is that he is very inconsistent (on a team ripe with inconsistency...). But he's young and lots of potential. I don't want to get rid of him and hope we keep him, but it probably would be good for him.

    If I'm trading Carter i want a proven goalie not a guy "who needs a change of scenery"

    Interesting factoids after the game

    The Flyers have made the playoffs 34 of 43 Seasons

    Only Detroit has been in the playoffs more in the last 15 years..they are 15 for 15 The Flyers are 14 of 15

    Of course not of it matters much without winning a cup but I was still impressed

    i don't know if you can say carter is a proven 40 goal scorer as he only has 1 season as a 40 goal scorer. i would trade carter for price but just not only for price. i think a 2nd round pick has to come back to philly. carter right now has shown more promise than Price and should get more. anyway, GO FLYERS GO

    totally agree. carter disappears too often in big games. he's a role player, not a franchise player. trade his ass

    I'm a flyer fan...hate to sound like debbie downer, but I'll be shocked if this team wins 3 games in round 1. everyone is getting carried away with this win...and the devils matchup. I know flyers won 5 of 6 vs NJ, but they still suck. and now they have boucher. it's gonna be ugly

    As a Pens fan, I can't believe I'm saying this.

    I hope the Flyers crush the Devils. For some reason the Pens can't beat the Devils to save their soul yet have no problem with the Flyers. Granted, if the top four seeds win out then the Pens would face the Caps next and I'm not loving that matchup either, but I'm all about the lowers seeds pulling out upsets.

    Jersey doesn't really bang much other than Clarkson so we don't need that many checkers

    I bleed orange and black but i have to be honest, I don't have much hope for
    Boucher. He isn't consistent at all and allows way too many easy Goals... who knows though maybe he will be standing on his head for the playoffs. Can't see us beating the pens or caps but crazier things have happened.
