Would a fellow Wintersleep fan be kind enough to hook me up with "Early In The Morning"? Unfortunately I currently only have Linux, which doesn't allow for Itunes, so I can't find the song online. The song was great live. I may have some other Wintersleep tunes to trade ("We Three Kings" Christmas cover perhaps?). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. - Mitch"It makes much more sense to live in the present tense."

Saw them with Sarah, Sian and Dave at Club NME (bleurgh!) and spent two and a half hours hilarious taking the piss out of Indie kids and rock songs with disco beats..
The support band, Hockey... tight jeans, Indie hair and more disco... But then Wintersleep. Short-lived but awesome as always:
Archaeologist
Astronaut
Encyclopedia
Weighty Ghost
Murderer
Oblivion
Miasmal Smoke
....And they're back in FEBRUARY?? I'm watching out for that..'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

"Here Mark, I bet I can clear that dancefloor in seconds... THERE'S A 75% OFF SALE ON AT TOPSHOP!!!!.... Oh look at that one go! Why does he have an umbrella?! I know, because he is soooo fucking clever clever smart smart... what a twat. I'm in awe at his intelligence..." *drinks* "When are Wintersleep on? I'm sick of this piss poor excuse for an American Razorlight... Why is HE *points* wearing a pink diamond check tanktop?! Is he off to play GOLF anytime soon?!"
Good times...
Apart from the amp cutting out at the beginning, the band were rather spiffing!Miasmal was epic and Weighty Ghost made my year!
Dave didn't stop smiling the whole time and i'm actually quite glad they didn't play anything off the first two albums (i'm not that keen on them). The only two songs that would've made it perfect for me would've been Dead Letter and Listen (Listen Listen). I'll go see them again in February... I just hope the place isn't the 'NME cattle market' again...
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.0 -

Great song! I've listened to it at least a half dozen times in the past couple of days (along with Bloodbuzz Ohio by The National that just came out, too). They better come to Winnipeg.“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut0
