    It's a good thing they cancelled the prom. We've gotta do something to stop the spread of AIDS.

    Canceling all-heterosexual proms would do more to stop the spread of AIDS than canceling even all-lesbian proms. Lesbians have lower rates of STDs than cohort groups.

    Also, most people dance at proms. I have never heard of anyone getting any STD from dancing.

    I really think there's going to have to be a human rights movement led by heterosexuals for homosexuals before this wall gets broken down.

    Homosexuals are still not given completely equal treatment in American society and it needs to change if we want to have a society where all adults are considered equal and valuable. :geek:

    Black Americans would never have won equal rights without other people joining the fight on their behalf. I think that's true for homosexual rights as well. It HAS to be more general than just the homosexuals revolting against the present system. Other people need to support them. That's my feeling anyway.

    It's not that I mean to diminish them by saying they need the support of heterosexuals, I just think it's the fair thing to do.

    tis very interesting that governments feel the need to legislate love and sex to the degree where they discriminate against even their own selves.

    keeponrockin yup ! you can also get aids from sharing needles....bottom line boy's and girl's,don't do drug's and be careful of who your bang'n, men pass aids to their partner's much ezer then women do but it's still possible even at a prom :o
